just got mine to day, bargain really!

Got one of these jacks a few weeks ago, not christened it yet though! I want the stands with chocks but I really don't need another pair, and bricks will do for now. They have quite a lot of stuff there actually, had some of those bent ring spanners but they had all gone by the time I went to buy them :(

Just a word of caution . . Bricks or concrete blocks (!) are NOT good things to support a car with (unlike, say, solid blocks of wood or proper stands / ramps)

They can & do CRACK / Split without warning. . . .

Yes they support buildings, but the load is more evenly distributed by the OTHER bricks around them . . . Usually, the bits of cars you see resting on bricks are "localized" bits of metal at one point on the brick, hence the tendency to cause cracking & slippage. Hope this helps . . as I've had a lucky escape in the past by not supporting a vehicle properly . .
