i think your wrong, from the reading I've done on here all you need is the calipers, discs and pads. you can use the carriers you already have.

yeah standard carriers can be used from what i have read!

yes you can use the standard carriers. In fact the normal carriers will give more clearance for wheels than g40 carriers do so a lot of people use the non-g40 ones for fitting wide wheels etc...

i will have a set of the calipers without all the extra bits for £35 if you still have a set c

Really crap question probobly but how do these rate to standard mk4 1.4 8v brakes? and I'm guessing all id need then is rotors and pads?

not sure at all, post a technical question asking prob best bet, I'm just selling them...
