LukeGillam's GT Coupe

Featured Replies

Model: Mk3 GT Coupe

Engine: Standard 75k engine with a very low hanging Jetex Cat back system.

Suspension: Spax Adjustable damping shocks set to hard and Spax 60/40 springs, front lower GED bar and anti roll bar blocks

Brakes: Standard with a leaky O/S/R wheel cylinder, lol. Soon to have G40 upgrade

Wheels and Tyres: Currently on BBS RA's with 10mm spacers either side on the rear. Was on mattigs until recently. They weren't exactly practical for daily driving, lol.

Exterior Styling: Arch and sill trims obviously, late spec rear clusters, pressed german font plates when i'm brave enough, lol. 8 ball on aerial and clear green dice dust caps on the wheels  Stickers coming soon.... Oh, and the hella spot lamp grille 8-)

Interior Styling: Standard dark GT interior with fluffy dice hanging from mirror and mk4 golg gear gaiter with golf ball gear knob.

ICE and Security: JVC head unit, Blaupunkt components and tweeters mounted in boot lid, Blaupunkt 6x4's in parcel shelf supports and original items up front for now.

Comments: Not really done that much too it, but i believe in the minimalistic approach to styling cars. Less is more. I am after some different wheels tho now. Thinking of going for 14's or slotmags maybe.

The pics i have put up are from over the last few months when i couldnt decide which wheels i wanted, lol.. So we have RA's, Mattigs and Mattigs with the GT wheel trims. Enjoy.

love the colour :) I still want your grille!

I'm loving the colour too! :)

You know thats strange, 5 mins ago I walked past a steel blue mk3 squareback (he lives near me), and I saw the reflection of a tree on the car, and for a moment thought it was dark green. Which brought me to wonder, did mk3s come in metallic green? Then first thread I looked at when I got in home was a green mk3. Coincidence or what? Car looks good, the stance is spot on, one thing I'm not sure about but... the grille is a bit marmite I duno if I like it yet, but it's Hella so I can tell its an original, the BBS's look fantastic on it!!

looking good old bean. bout time you got some piccys up on here(without a white mk2 in the way  ).
