Think i'm going to get banned soon

Featured Replies

I'm in a bit of an expert in thsi field being banned before 2 years and currently being banned now lol. Anyway, if you get more points than 6 in your first 2 years, youl have to resit your test. Driving over 100 (and getting caguht) is a ban. As your in both I'm not sure tbh, my experience with court is they dont mix and match punishments so youl likely just get a ban and not have to do your test. As you say you had 3 points before you passed your test they might use that agaisnt you and use it for longer sentance or higher fine!

I'm no angel, got banned twice in as many years in my early 20's,but one or two people here should listen to themselves. Perhaps a ban is well in order @ noone in particular. I spent a few days last month in hospital with busted ankle, hip and wrist, thanks to someone who was just in another world. With the wrong attitude. My bro was upset at a funeral yesterday,a mate didnt have time to tow my Seat..

.. And how does all this relate to eachother? Because in every case, the following has been true - 'its all about you, isnt it? Its all about what you've lost, your inconvenience, your expense, and how much you can get away with it. Where's the respect?' All year, its been the same. Of people all around. Impatience, greed, selfishness - hand in hand. Well, its reflection time. Sorry..

i love lamp.

also what people don't realise is that with the specs all in a row is that when you pass one, make sure that when you pass the next one your in a different lane and the same so on as there was a leacked bit of info on them saying that they only work if the car stays in the same lane, hence the signs saying "KEEP IN LANE" wink.gif

I learnt that from Top Gear

That's bollox TBH, Sometimes they only use 1 camera, in the middle, which I guess can pick up all lanes. You also dont know which way the camera are facing, they could swap them around and all sorts.

Might work, but would anyone actually risk it?

Only real way to avoid them is taking your front plate off ;)

i hit two cycleists and had mne licence rovoked with 6 points even tho i took a letter from my employer saying that my lice was crucial to my job.

oh yeah i had a 365 pound fine to go with it.

I've had to retake my theory driving lessons again the lot I've got my test very soon

Where were the cyclists? Road or pavement?

I read that they do pick up and work accross all lanes, but they only had them approved for single lane roads so can only prosicute if you stay in one lane. May be bollox and I don't speed through them, but if I ran through the first one too fast by accident, I'd swap lanes.

i think you might be looking at a year or 6month ban

they were riding side by side on a blind corner the wankers just because there pedeling they think they own the road

WTF!!!?? I'm sorry you're the complete idiot on that and you certainly shouldn't be on the road!!!

Number 1: Dont you slow down for blind corners!!?

Number 2: The highway codes states the that cyclists are allowed to ride in double file with a metre gap between and the cylist nearest the curb is allowed to give them self 1 metre away from the curb! Highway code also states that a passing motorist should allow at least 1 metre! That means that those cyclists were legally allowed 3 metres of that road!

6 points and £365 fine!? I think you got off lightly on that
