Just want to know what the process is of taking my private registartion plate and what costs are involved if any?

How long am I able to have it not registered to a car for?

You can put it on retention for £25 a year(although that was a while ago now)

Usually costs somewhere around £100 to transfer a plate car to car and both cars have to be inspected at the DVLA local office.
