likin the ideas, but dont think technix do coilies for mk3,

mk3 coilies are a bloody lot of money lol

but other than that sweet plans

th monos will look to big imo.

coilovers are Alot of £, probly more then the car.

Think you will only need the arches and people always breaking Gt/G40 on here

90% sure the bumpers are the same

everything else sounds cool should be a sweet motor if you get it to the spec you want

would warn you about the German plates you might get pulled by the pigs that the only

prob some people are lucky but alot of people get pulled and a £30 fine.

Cheers Guys Shame about the coillovers :-( will just get some springs and struts then . also thankyou for the info about the plates and arches . got my first insurance quote £768 Through my dad 8-) . not to bad as i got quoted 1500 To insure a ford escort bonus

Try that there direct line I'm with them pay £390 Tpft

on that's there gt with mods declared...

(threw my mum as my 3yr no claims bonus is in dispute due to a tosser pulling out in front of me  )

Sounds like a good plan.

If I may, some input:

1, Compomotive Th mono wheels (black) - Nice choice, rude yet different

2, Technix Coilovers - PhilJ has his own sub section of new parts, I recommend the H&R cup kit for performance or one of his more affordable kits for the mega low ride.

3, G40 bumpers & arches - the bumpers are the same except for the red pin stripe. For the whole look, you will need the arches and sills.

4, German Plates - These are illegal, no question about it. They are good show plates but for general driving, a set of nice clean plates are legal and can tidy up a tired looking car.

5, Nice custom Stainless steel Exhaust - May I recommend Longlife, very good work. Otherwise PhilJ sells exhausts, every section too IIRC.

6, Leather retrim if funds allow - If a retrim is on the cards I would buy a set of Corrado front seats to re-trim. They fit on the same runners as the MK2 and MK2F Polo. I have heard rumours that the heated ones don't but I am not sure why. The corrado seats are far more sporty looking, supportive and comfortable than the standard Polo items.

You've got some nice ideas. Other more affordable but worthwhile items are:

Steve-o headlight wiring loom

Ged Brace

G-Ladierseite ARB drop blocks

GT/G40 or late coupe S steering wheel, check the spline fitting first

Centre consol with leatherette gear gaitor and gearnob

Wolfsburg car mats

Painted rocker cover with a clean engine bay free of grime always looks nice

Bonnet lifters to show off a clean engine

Hope that helps :D
