right, i need to contact quinn to question them about some mods

what is the best way of doin it, when i ring the general number i get a load of different options and i aint got a clue which one it is

and what do i need to say to them?

because I've been told the price shouldnt change with cosmetic mods

Quinn are a bit of a funny one, sometimes people just have to get an engineers report stamped to stay the kit is fitted correctly other times they increase the premium.

yea mine was extra 180. i just said was thinking of putting it on collies n they gave me a price n i rang them back. that way you dont drop yourself in it by saying the car IS lowered.

really shocked it was that much just going to have to wait till my dad has a years ncb on the policy and i get a new job sorted

insurance is dear enough as it is, 2k with no mods!

That's very strange; i'm with quinn and when i declared my mods (alloy wheels, lowered suspension, zorst and chip. i may not have mentioned the cam...) they said cosmetic mods didnt add to the premium!

my quote for a GT as standard was 1400, then when i declared the mods, it went up to 1700.
