mk1 golf mirrors

new rear bumper as i fucked mine up after taking the whole exhaust off on a manhole

standard backbox and midbox going on this wensday

saw this on polo3 and loved the idea, but not sure if it would look good or not..the holes in bumper with side plate.

interior plans: mk1 golf seats

mk1 or 2 polo steering wheel

mk2 doors to have the smaller doorcards as i have holes in mine now

all to do by summer...haha

haha the other bonnet i still have so dont panic.

and its half way through so it looks really tatty and undone atm.

but i love it so thats what matters :grin:

and i dont like the normall things people do to mk3's gets a little boring...

the bonnet didnt look as good as i was hoping and no one els seems to like it.

looks too messy with it

See how much it would be to get the bonnet chrome powdercoated, I think that would look mint

yeah my first plan was to polish it up and laquer it but i decided i couldnt be arsed.

ille look into the polished/chroming

After seeing how long Mitch took to polish his Lupo bonnet I wouldn't advise it unless you have no life

Thats mental, I dont understand the bonnet though, the body on you car looks mint!! Can see the buffing brought out a nice colour!! Love the front wheels, the orange indicators are marmite arent they? My mates love my clear indicators (like yours before) but I miss the orange ones, nice to see you went back to standard ones!!

You ever notice how steel blue looks depressing on a rainy day, when I see mine in the driveway in the rain it makes me feel cold lol

Lol I was gona chuck them about a fortnight ago when clearing the garage and found them, along with the side indicators and, not 1, but 2 mk3 grilles with badges haha. Was getting ready to throw them in the bin when I looked at my phone which has the wallpaper of my car when I bought it, and thought 'maybe someday I'll make it OEM'.... so i boxed the lights :)

i think it looked mint dude, thats my Mk2 wide arch breadvan thats behind you in the second pic, i wish that wasn't so mint so i could rat it but kinda got too carried away with the arches to rat it now :(

You should get paint a zebra pattern or something on the bonnet lol. I PM'd you by the way. I have the same BBS's as you had on, but mine are polished, but bits have lacquer peel and they need a tidy up, gona do them in anthracite with 195/45/14's and centre caps, for the motorsport look! What did you do with your arches? Did you sell them?

thats not why, i dont like how it turned out. i sanded all the paint and primer off till it was bare metal but it only rusted in patches? and i was going for a whole rusted bonnet. I'm gonna take it off and rust the whole thing up or maybe go for chalkboard.

i just dont like the grayish dull colour with orange patches. ille have a go at sanding it more to see what i can do.

it isnt gonna be to much peoples taste i know but thats a good thing right?

btw youre squareback was mint! loved the work, i miss my square

i broke all of them while taking them off haha, they were all riveted on damnit!

i need to get rid of the side strip stuff too but its a b**ch to get off.

yeah i liked the bbs but they almost made my car look like it was on stilts with the 40mm too high for my liking.

since i put my new wheels on the car dropped almost 20mm and looks way better, exept for the comedy arch gap.

but my bbs are on ebay so money from that will buy me gt seats hopeully.

wehey got my standard exhaust done! love it looks tiny in comparison now haha, but its level with the belly of the car so thats mint.

no more damn big chav exhaust.
