The day i got it from Peterborough car auctions for a bargain price of £2,200 me thinks :)

It's a Mk5 1.4 16v 75bhp, with Canyon Red paint i've been told!

85k When bought, nearly 90k now hehe! 8)

It has an electric sunroof and a 6 disk cd changer in the boot and kenwood 6x9s fitted in a stealth parcel shelf.

The car came with a k&n air filter thingy already fitted.

The boot was de badged, so saved me a job!

Few days later i took aload of pics with my phone, Samsung G600, the camera is crap!

Then came my first purchase, a GTi Grille :)

Then it was some valve caps with sleeves, maybe chavvy but i like them :)

Then it was pressed plates time

Done by many, but major improvement over original plates IMO!

Mum picked me up one night from work in my car, before i had passed my test, and she sumhow locked herself out of the car with the engine still running to see if she could work out how to put the foglights on HAHA!

So i thought hey lets get some pics! :)

I pretty much done all of this in October, i passed my test first time on the 1st November The plates were put on the 3rd November, and since then i haven't really done anything to my Polo!

Shocking i know!

Then on the 21st February i lost control and smashed into a kerb. I had split up with my gf the day before and had so much on my mind aswell as havin that to deal with!

I cracked my front drivers side alloy beyond repair. The rear alloy was scuffed alot but is fine. The impact snapped the bottom end of my suspension in half, and the drive shafts popped out

In this photo, notice the patch where this is no dirt? That would be where i took my anger out on my poor car :(

Then the week after, when i finished work on Sunday i cleaned her :)

I also bought a strut brace from a guy on clubpolo. I decided to spray this matt black as it was chrome, and I'm not a huge fan of chrome in engine bays as such.

As i was waitin for the recovery truck guy to pick my car up, i thought hey ill spray my rear view mirror aswell! (I'd been looking for a black rear view mirror for AGES!)

i also past my test same time around you and got my car on the 1st of november, but mines is a 5 door summer blue colour, its the 16v though :)

liking what youve done the gti grill does really make the difference and its good that youve matched it with the bottom set of grills.

i would suggest getting some aero wipers, they really do make the difference, and so does the black rear view mirror. I've bin looking around for that, what did you spray yours with?

I've bought a set of new OEM alloys the same as those, shes gettin slammed very soon on them wheels, with Ronal Turbos to come in a few months.

Not to everyones taste but I've chopped my car with ronals on and it looks great

Lol i was gettin so bored at home all the time when not at work so i thought fuck it why not lol

And plus it was so filthy i thought the mechanic might of gotten annoyed lol :p

yea gonna smooth the front and rear bumpers but not till later on in the mod stages

savin for insurance first then its coilovers and some nice rims that i haven't seen on a polo before

I did exactly the same to my old golf mk3, thought it would be fun to drive my car in the snow it cost a fair old whack to get it fixed, about £450 iirc think it might of been a bit worse than that tho. learnt a lesson there tho.... Golfs dont handle in the snow (nothin to do wit my drivin skills lol)
