ok heres what happened....

got home from picking my new lights up tuseday night about 9 parked car up in pouring rain and went into my flat

about 8am wenseday morning i go out to my car and fit the new rear lights (very nice btw pics soon) :) after about 20

mins there all in, so i go out for about 2 hours then return home to try my new lights, fogs working ect ect all fine but

on my dials where the digital clock would b on the revs side its blank...before it would always show the time ignition on

or off so i turn the engine on and the clock has reset itself to 00:00 and the other digi bit that says trip and how many

miles u driven is back to 0:0 milage is fine ect then i notice after turning the engine off the revs needle is stuck just

above 1k? so i turn ignition on and it goes down to 0 like a watch being adjusted. so i went for a drive thinking maybe

all the rain made the battery wet or something like that after about 10 miles i look at the dials and there all working fine

times ticking tho not the right time 0:20 and the trip thing has started telling me how many miles I've done. great! untill i

stalled it at a roundabout5 and then they both went blank and reset themselves again????

help please!!! this cant be anything to do with the lights surley, so if not what could it be?????

check the battry connections matey, and dry it of it got wet, check the light connection for breaks in any of the cables. are the light you fitted E marked?

this happened to me just last week, 2 days later my battery was dead, luckily i was only about 200 yards from my house where i was parked.

cheers guys gotta go out in a sec will see if she starts and if she does ill pop into kwik fit for a free brake test.

ill check the battery 1st.

cars going in 2moro but when i saw em today they reckon battery is fine?????

check your fuses, think one blew in mine and it did this every time I removed the key

check ure fuses think its prob no 21 ull find ure interior light doesnt wrk either and the central locking if u have it

mines done this whats the solution ?
