Very happy after the Polo and Renault. Not saying Polo's are bad but compared to the one I had, the Yaris is better (quicker, safer, more economical) as obviously it's newer. Compare a 2002 1.4 Polo Match to a 2001 1.3 Yaris GLS and the kit is very similar.

Had the Yaris 6 months now and Id had the Polo 5 before I got rid of it.

I know this is a Polo forum so I'm open to criticism on my choice, but asides from petrol and touch up paint, it's cost me nothing, whereas as Id spent £200 trying to fix that misfire on the Polo.

Looks like you made a good choice, mate. If I could afford it, I'd get a 5-door D4-D Yaris, or maybe Corolla. Those things are spendy, though!

Aye. Polo cost me £900, part exchanged it for £1,000

Yaris screen price was £5,500 but the total amount payed was £3,800 + £500 deposit.

Free MOTs for life, got 12 months tax paid for and the change over for insurance!

Yaris's are brilliant cars, IMO the best in their class.

For a small, modern car, they're also pretty easy to work on, though hopefully, being a Toyota, they don't tend to break.

Only problem I've had so far is down to my own craptasticness

Upgraded the dash speakers using snap locks. One came undone, lost the channel.

Took 3 minutes to fix, but it's the only problem I've actually had...
