Here's how it's changed so far!

Before the fun began she looked like this:

Comedy ride height..

Being cheap and having no money, first on my list was a debadged grille, an easy way to change how the front end looked.

Also colour coded the splitter 8)

Got some clear indicators to freshen up the front of the car and it transformed the look

Some nice person decided to hit and run my car while it was parked in Cardiff :(

The fun started when I had some money

Which led to this...

Trial fitted the wheels, and I thought they looked too wide at first!

Plans for it now include fitting the new lights I have for it, a new rear bumper, HIDs, some bodywork and maybe some fresh interior ;)

Cheers for looking.

looks good mate,

just getting some ideas for my pistach bitch... where and how much did it cost colour coding that splitter and the rear bumper is creased like mine now... whats the best way of sorting it do you reckon?

I did the splitter myself mate. Sand it down, 2 layers of primer, 2 layers of paint and then laquer it after.

As for the rear bumper, I think I'm going to opt for a 16v since the 8v rear bumpers look rubbish imo :)

:o Wash your mouth out with SOAP boy... 8v bumpers are better than 16v bumpers... Lol..

nice motor mate :-)

i wont yr wheels!!!!!

looking very nice mate.....it makes me want my standard mk4 taillights agian haha

oi dont diss 8v bummpers! i prefer 8v front bumpers but i myslef will be getting a 16v rear.

also are those wheels 14s or 15s and what profiles? as your about as low as me looknig at the pictures and if they 15s and no stretch i be fine with my 15s on 165s :-)

Yeah I don't like rear 8v bumper, will be keeping the front though.

nice ride james I'm luvin it mate.

I am aware it is perfectly legal to have indicator lights that are amber, but what i wona know is when you replaced the plastic did you have to change the bulb to an amber bulb, or was it already an amber bulb? because I'm pretty sure most polos run on a white bulb with an amber cover.

also where did you get the parts from!

Guessing you got to change it to an amber bulb if your going with a clear case, anybody know if theirs rules on what you can do and what you can't so you dont miss-lead other drivers.

Get silver coated amber bulbs  They flash orange.

Law is as long as it flashes orange its legal.

ok wicked, and where can i get the clear cases from?( i have exact same model as you)

what difference would this make? just so when your driving along and their not on they dont stand out as orange inside your clear case?

Orange bulbs in clear case looks rubbish lol.

All that trouble over an orange bulb

will halfords have the silver coasted bulbs?

Mini Update

After fitting the very original mk5 rear lights.. :paranoid: ..I thought I'd take it out for a few photos! Seriously needs a clean though!

The new lights still need a little persuasion to get them to sit flush with the body..Heres the photos...
