My ride

Featured Replies

Finally got round to taking some pics today even though it typically started raining straight after washing the car!! :x

I've always been into vdubs and picked up this dirrty little diesel a few months back to get me to work and back economically (mortgage prevents me from having anything juicy). I wanted to give it this sort of look and I'm happy with the way its turned out. Spotted the PLS Daytonas on here, snapped them up and got them colour coded and slammed it on some TA Technix coilies. Then fitted the facelift taillights to tidy the rear up. Was gonna get clear fronts and sides but cant be arsed anymore...any money i have spare from now on is going on my drift project.

I'm real happy with the wheel tyre combo too, i took ages to decide on rubber but settled on 175/50/14 Pirellis which i think go just right on the 7.5 & 8" rims. Ideally, id like to go lower but it would be a lot of effort for not a lot of gain and the underside of my car already has an intimate enough relationship with the tarmac!

Cheers for the positive comments peeps :-) Like i said i would like to go lower but it would require a lot of archwork to go even 1mm lower, otherwise it would be resting on the sidewalls which aint ideal.

@vdub 13 - The rims are 7.5" ET20 front & 8" ET15 rear.

As for the duck, i guess he just hopped around, he seemed pretty happy about the situation though...maybe he was just happy to see my Polo :lol:

Oh and I will be going to some of the local meets no doubt. I did go to the last SoVag but got there at about 8.30 and everyone was leaving. I'll get there earlier next time! :)
