Heres something I done a while ago. I did some work for a forum member that goes by the name of Dubbing.

Just to put this out there it was arranged for the car to be washed by the owner beforehand due to limited time on the day, also the wheels in the pictures are just the winter wheels and the owner did not request for them to be detailed.

Products used:

Meguires quick clay/quick detailer

Makita 9227 cb rotary polisher

Sonus Pads

Menzerna IP 3.01 and FF 85RD

Meguires stage 2 glaze

Collinite 476s wax

Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel

damn thats clean, just got some claybar, be interestin to see how it works on the polo........

the killer question is how much did it cost  and it does look great, i was surprised looking at these pics just how much a clayyin' can actually change things.

Wow. How did you get the Polo to UD show as clean as it was after polishing? Or did you start to polish the front-end there again?

The finish is long term provided it is looked after, I'm happy to say it looks like the owner took good care of it after the detail!

You might need to do mine :D

That looks CLEAN mate, nice job. So how much did it cost and how long did it take?

Wasn the car fully resprayed before the detailing or not?

Think Kaps will defo look after the motor now! I'd love to get mine looking like that after the repray and detailing before I bought it. Its got so many problems with stone chips, fibreglass falling out I haven't been showing it much TLC at the mo.

I've had some of pete's 53 on this colour and it came out lovely, lovely depth mate :D:D

That look superb dude! Great write up aswel!

Cant help but think those rm's would look better than the schmidts tho if they were refurbed.... o how my mind works! lol

That looks ace mate

looks awsome :)

Thanks for the comments!

Noz, Kapil had the bumpers and bonnet painted before the show but I think every panel except for the roof has seen some new paint over time. Time taken was roughly 10 and half hours, with majority of the time spent correcting the paint.

Looks good mate

lol @ the RMs being the winters

Looks great. I'd love to have my car done, the paint isn't bad by any standards. Comes up nice and reflective when you wash it, but theres something about perfect paintwork that just makes you proud. Even if it only lasts for a week

great work mate :thumbsup:8-)

very nice, I've already ordered some Maguires next Gen Tech Wax!! I'm excited

Ruefurb the RM's with cream dishes like the leather and colour coded centers ;) what i would do anyway :D.....paint looks awesome, just the wheels letting her down :(

Just come across the thread...

Just want to saya big thanks to S-line for doing such a cracking job!

A lot of hard work was gone into that day, finish and look was immense, its a long process but defo worthwhile, Weather has been really shit lately, but shine is still there, spotless bodywork too..Only have had a chance to wash it once since UD last week. So need to get it washed again.

RM's Have now gone lol

What's the pricing on this dude?

I've been quoted £300 for an entire Car (Corsa), including correction and wax etc afterwards.

Cheers, Phil

lol @ the RMs being the winters
