has anyone been pulled for being too low or even just lower than normal??

nope never heard of it. but its an eyecatcher for coppas to check your car though.

I got pulled for being to low .

It was due to having 3 people in the back and a large stereo system .

My exhaust was sparking on a A road at 80Mph apparently .

Dont blame them for pulling me over to be honest !

Well if theres nothing to hide then I don't know why there would be a problem!

theres no problem, just dont want the hassle of someone pulling me over, then doing a search, then producer, then etc etc etc

yes all completely legal, all mods(all 3 of them) insured, just thought i'd ask the question...

LOL quality.... overloaded?? dont they ask you to follow them to the nearest weigh station and if your over the limit points on your licence and fine??

a bloke that brought my telesials said he got pulled for being too low and when he was speaking to the copper a lambo gunned it past that was lower than his golf , the copper didnt no what to say then lol

I didnt think cops could actually pull you opver for being low, but they could pull you over for being suspiciously modified and therefore illegal....

my mate got pulled over in his 205 for being too low. they police threatened him with a fine for "criminal damage to a public highway" or something like that. nothing ever came of it tho.

they will try to do you for 'criminal damage to the public highway' but thats only if your car scraps the road, apart from that as long as there are no sparks and it doesn't hit the floor they are bascally talking bollocks, i know this because i have been pulled for that reason and basically blew the copper out the water when i got hime and his mate and me sat on the back tryu to get it to touch the floor and got no where near

so as long as you don't get sparks your ok

(also my mums a magistrate so i know most of the laws )

it was sparks from the underside. not even the exhaust. pretty much just the floor pan. it was very low

but was a bumpy road.

The only thing they could get you on is either underside hitting the road (as mentioned above) or wheels fouling the arches, and so if it does neither of those things, then you should be fine.

yeah i was several times in my mk3.... 1 copper went mental cause i showered the front of his bmw with sparks! haha!

though they never really did anything to me, just had a bit of a moan, and check insurance etc...

sounds like a few of you have had problems with being pulled for being LOOOWWWWW

not yet, but in our local paper last week was a full article highlighting boy racers, saying the police will be out in force the next few of weeks, stopping modified cars to check the exhaust emissions and insurance, make sure your insured for all mods x

its not in the polices jurisdiction to check whether the mods are insured, so as long as its the correct car insured nothing they can do on that front!
