My Polo GT

Featured Replies

For sale is my beloved Polo GT Coupe. I love it long time but its costing me too much money to fix to get it running right so am selling it in the hope of buying a good nick G40 in the summer

'H' reg - 1991

Mileage is currently 91856

Tax til 31/07/08

MOT til 2nd July 2008

£900 ovno

Good points: Runs smoothly, very nippy (no back seats), sounds lovely due to the de-cat exhaust system and Ashley backbox, not too expensive on insurance and tax.

Bad points: Front wheels bearings need changing, front pads are on the way out but they still work, doesnt always start first time in the mornings and needs to be left for 5 mins b4 driving (possibly due to the cold start injector or auto choke settings)

Car will come as shown in the pics and will also hav a Pioneer head unit and JBL 6x9s rearmounted on the rear interior cards. 4 new tyres were fitted on 4/03/2008 (Yokohama A539 175/50 R13). Rear bootlid has a couple of dents in it but i do have another bootlid which i will include in the sale, its also the same colour, Rear arch trims and a VW badge grill will also be chucked in with the car.

Have seen this in the flesh, good luck with the sale

i owned it before matt (dubnuss) and can say that it is a really fun car to drive, the things that i had done to it were:

Chipped - not polo ace, but with raised limiter (8000rpm)

Full Stainless Exhaust, Ashley Backbox, G40 Exhaust Manifold and Decat pipe

Phil J Suspension Kit (80/60) with lowering top caps

Pioneer Head Unit

JBL 3.5" dashboard speakers

Pipercross Induction Kit

13x7 Mattig Steels with 175/50 yoko A539s

13x8 Weller steels, 1 with 175/50 yoko A539 and the other with a dunlop Sp9000 175/50

Matt took a lot of care with the car

Free Bump

All the tyres are now the same all round, i changed them a few weeks ago just to save confusion :D

Saw this car today, those wheels are wiiiiiiide!

Come on people, any takers? Needs to go asap really!
