Corsa VXR

Compared to the cooper s the corsa looks alot more nimble - i was never impressed with the mini's handling. thought the grip gave up way too easily

Surprised to see you saying that. You were running decent tyres, yah?

Current Cooper S is suppose to be the pick of the bunch. I think on every level I'd choose a Mini over a Corsa.

My mate has the standard 1.6 mini it has a little bit more bhp than mine not sure though, the roads round me are all bendy (a lot of accidents around here) and the mini just cant keep up on corners just catches me in straight lines, the new polos are best handling cars I've ever driven.

Personally thought my mums old mini was one of the most fun cars i'v driven! And thought the cooper was nippy for what it was!

I do like the new style corsa's to be honst though, seen a white one up here and really impressed me! Think this model has lost its chav factor a little....but once prices drop, may once again get that back

It's the crappy run flats that kill the handling i think. I don't want to run without the run-flats cos there's no spare!

Get a space saver or a can of that tyre repair stuff?

Run flats are suppose to upset the ride, not sure how much of an effect they have on road holding?

You need to go drive some more cars :lol:

:shock::lol:

lol I've driven plenty of cars, just in my opinion they stick to the road a lot better than other cars

Non sporty Mk6/7's handle safely as standard but there is too much body roll and little feedback for them to be close to amazing

What is handling safely? Ploughing straight on into a ditch, rather than going into it backwards? Personally, I'd rather leave the road backwards :lol:
