Believe it or not I'm tempted to buy one of these (mainly for the looks) and yes i realise its a Hyundai and i might look like a clit but the 2.0 comes with everything, alloys, twin exhausts, leather etc. Not bad price too.

Its either gonna be one of these or the new Golf GT 1.4 tsi.

I personaly don't like the looks. Someone my dad works with said that when he owned one he couldn't fault it, best car he has owned....... saying that i don't know what else he has owned :-)

Would be nice to have a fully loaded car that didn't need any fussing with...... think its just these winter months though, buggering with cars is rubbish!!

I do prefer the looks of the older model, but that's just personal of course.

The car has been thrashed and irregularly serviced for the last five years ( ) but it will not die.

Engine has a wicked growl as well. I really like it!

(Just one thing - if anything major does snap, it'll probably cost an arm and a leg for spares!!!)

I'm not fussed on the looks either..they don't look like anything special to me. I'm not saying they're bad cars, or bad performance..just got bored of the looks quickly.

i prefer the older model tbh, but sounds like it has alot of gooodies for a lowish price

My mate had a mk1 F2 for a while and loved it. The interior wasn't bad and it sounded really good with an aftermarket filter bolted on. MY main issue with the new one is those rear lights I'm afraid!!! If they were just solid red instead then it would look ace.

Nowt wrong with that, there's a couple of people I work with have them and do stupid milages in them.

Good warranty on them too isn't there?

The badge may be but this is the only model Hyundai have managed to make a success out of. Reviews etc mirror that too as you've probably seen so choosing the coupe isn't a bad thing. They look great, handle well and have a good engine. The only problem is the fact services and parts are expensive cos there isn't as many of them. eg: won't find a part at scrappies as easily as an escort mart for instance. being in small numbers makes them more valueble to sellers.

Don't know if the depreciation is as bad as other Hyundai's as its the only car that is good so might wanna check that out too.

Family in my estate has 3 Hyundai's. The dad has one of these in silver, the mum has it in black, and one of the son's has a nice blue Accent (which the other son used to drive til he joined the VAG group and got an Ibiza). Anyway more to the point, they love Hyundai's and the family have had loads of them, good cars too. Not only that but women love the Coupe's, my sisters mate has one in silver and they all love it for its looks!

I quite like the new styling, hated the old mk1! Ugly as hell! But think thats got a decent look to it, especially the front end! A nice healthy drop wouldnt go amiss either :p

You could do better but certainly do a hell of a lot worse!

i think they look smart, best lookin coupe so far. the facelift one of the last car with the googly eyes, horrid!
