BBS RM012 - stainless dishes - no tyres

Featured Replies

The time has come for me to sell my BBS RMs! Quite simply, I have got a different set of wheels (and a different look) in mind for my Polo and do not want to throw any more money at these wheels!

I have four BBS RM012 alloys that I purchased from German eBay in May 2007 for £500 plus shipping. I then had them professionally refurbished by A1 wheels in Wolverhampton at a cost of £400 as once they arrived from Germany, they were not exactly in show-standard condition.

The baskets, and the metal centre cap rings, have been shot-blast and powdercoated in the original silver finish. They are perfect, no scratches, marks or blemishes at all! The original 0.5" aluminium dishes were polished and lacquered before the wheels were reassembled with the original bolts. New metal valves were fitted at this time (cost £20).

One of the original outer dishes has since been damaged by a pothole, and I have taken pictures of this. The rim has now been bent flat for approximately a one-inch length near the valve. It is minor damage that could be fixed at little cost. The basket itself sustained no damage whatsoever and I completed a further 400 miles on the wheel before getting the RMs taken off the car.

In the meantime I have purchased a pair of 1" stainless steel dishes AND a pair of 1.5" stainless steel dishes over the Winter months (total cost £330) which I had intended to get put on the baskets and rebuild the wheels to a pair of 7x15 and a pair of 7.5x15 rims.

I have sold the original plastic centre caps as I intended to source a set of new ones from somewhere like JustMatz.

At this time the bolts have been removed from the wheels but they have not been split. The original dishes are still sealed to the baskets. This sale includes the following:

* four BBS RM012 6.5Jx15 4x100 ET33 (powdercoated silver baskets, polished and lacquered 0.5" original aluminium dishes, minor damage to one dish)

* two 1" stainless steel polished dishes

* two 1.5" stainless steel polished dishes

* four metal centre rings to fit original BBS centre caps

* one hundred and twenty original BBS wheel bolts

* NO CENTRE CAPS

* NO TYRES

I am looking for £680ovno. All pictures can be found in my Photobucket.

Any questions - please ask!

Once the Edition38 forums are back online I will be posting this ad there as well.

Cheers

I've got the picture of each of wheel in UHQ resolution - 3072x2304 - I can email them to you mate. You will be able to zoom in on the picture until you can see each bolt larger than life! Just let me know your email address, by PM if you prefer not to disclose it on a public forum ;)

Cheers

Fair enough. Problem is that each UHQ image is between 3MB-3.5MB in size and there will be four and I do not own any web space to post them up to (free image hosting sites, and Photobucket, have limits on size and resolution).
