haven't sold the mk1 polo yet, but bought a new car anyway :-) 02 reg, metallic black, 30k miles, fsh.

been looking at them for a while, always been a fan of tiny cars. i was torn between a lupo and one of these, decided on the arosa as i prefer the front end and they are far less common. gave it a damn good wash today (i didnt realise how easily black cars show the dirt!)

rinse, wash with autoglym bodywork shampoo conditioner, rinse, chamois

(repeat whole process again)

polish with autoglym super resin polish (2 coats)

polish with autoglym extra gloss protection (1 coat)

not exactly a comprehensive detailing session, but i think it looks pretty good. check the reflection shots, its like a mirror!

mine is the 100bhp version, i drive like a grandad most of the time but it feels pretty quick when you boot it

Aye, there not mind blowingly fast but for a shopping cart with a 1.4 in it they don't half shift! Fun round the twisty bits!

very nice. I've always thought the Arosa looks better from the front than the Lupo. Although the rear lights on Arosa's are the ugliest things I've ever seen.

Arosa's neat, mk1 polo's kool as, but the Graff is awesome!

has come up very nice. i might have to follow that polishing precedure to get my black gti looking that clean!
