I think you'll find that it originally came from the old Beetles and Vans back in the day.

I haven't started my Beetle in nearly a year now, but I bet if I put a battery on it, it would fire up :-)

My Mk3 polo seems to break down on a daily basis. Oh well.

I dont understand how a mk3 GT can break down everyday lol.

Theres not much to go wrong! Only problem i ever have had with my mk3 is the damn exhaust!

Custom exhaust next time i think...

I have had my polo mk4 for a while now and i have full service history everything its done 145,869 miles which is alot for a old girl with foot down to floor but everyday it starts fine never let me down the only thing its had done through its life is a new oil pump and coil in the recipts of history i service it 3000miles and it still goes like new my mate had a honda civic coupe how ever done 113,000 miles foot to floor blows head gasket once he replaced that brake servo went the thing is cars have feelings i say you treat them with respect and they will treat you wid respect back :-D

each of my 3 dubs let me down on the road only once each..

1.6 mk1 golf just cut out on the m3. Started 10mins later and never done it again.

1.3 ranger square fanbelt broke in bishop stortford.

1.05 2f coupe clutch went on the m11.

In over 13 years of dub ownership I'm quite satisfied with that!

Not starting at home is another story though!

(mind you, that's only 2 deutsch motors of course)
