It's called having a brain that's full of useless random crap.

The funniest bit is the way they built them. They pulled a green car, a blue car, a yellow car and a red car off the end of the line, then swapped the panels round, meaning you ended up with 4 different colour schemes. This page shows them in the Golf http://www.rossvw.com/vw/index.html

All harlequins were 1.4 8v. Some of them had the 8v 2 piece bumpers, and others had the 16v one piece bumpers, a bit like the 1.4 8v SE.

That's what they're all about. They're the only Mk4 I'd ever own, though I'd still rather have a Felicia fun as my first choice in modern VAG crazy wagens.
