we all hate the theivin pikeys that break into our cars as we sleep at night,

so thought i'd start a little topic whos car has ever been broken into what you had stolen, what kind of damage was done etc and did you ever catch them in the process

i'll always remember about this time a couple of years ago i had my mint condition corsa sri and i had this wierd feeling something was going to happen that night, i lived in a kind of old peoples area and it was really quite but i just had this feeling, so i sat up until 2 in the morning with my window open and nothing so decided to go to sleep then at 2.20am i heard a bang so i jumped out of bed looked outside and there was 4 lads trashing my car, so ran outside and straight out the front they seen me and ran, and lost them but next day i caught up with one of them and lets just say him and his mates didnt come near my car again, just piss's me off, just because they cant afford the things we work our arses off to buy for our cars etc they have to steal it from us

Aye, there pure fuckers.

I've not had my car broken into yet but its been vandalised a few times now.

Someone broke into our unit though. nice people nicked off with a flip up headunit, 2 sets of wheels, redtop engine/box/full harness, steering wheel, Golf lowering kit and probably more stuff we'll discover as time passes!

Same day someone had decide my rear quarter was a parking space

its only a car I'm not too worried they are replaceable. people have been killed trying to stop cars getting broken into and stolen etc.

I've had both my polos broken into and nothing stolen, I've also had my mk2 vandalised a few times, but these days thats the sort of thing I expect to happen.

i'm wanting to strip my polo, but i'm scared someone will see my subs and amps and break into my car, its all covered by insurance but its just the thought of someone breaking in and stealing what i've worked for

I've had an attempted break in where they fucked the lock and metal underneath but still didn't get in.

The worst thing was I was trying to sell it at the time so had to knock a fair bit off the price.

Many years ago, someone pulled the opening rear quarter light on my old panda right back, climbed in through there, pulled the wires out of the dash, and failed to work out how to hotwire it.

Don't think they were that bright.

The drivers door was unlocked, keys were under the seat, and the reason they couldn't start it even if they'd managed to work out how (not hard) was there was no fuel in it.

I've had my car broken into whilst it was in a public carpark and paint thrown over it once whilst it was parked at home.

I have a copper living opposite me along with the next door neighbour who has big dogs so not alot happens here!

last december '06 i had a mint, mk3 polo capri green, had plenty of plans for it. parked outside the misses house one nite. came out in the morning and the drivers window was smashed, lock all chewed up, steering column all fekd up where they tried and failed to brake it, only managing to snap the column off the mounting!!! livid!!! went aand got me a scrapper mk3 to get all the bits off it. fixed it, the very next weekend, parked a bit closer to misses house, came out in the morning, wing mirror kicked off and thrown through the windscreen!!! totally lost intrest in the car then, id only had it a month, sold it for £50 as it was.

then got me a mk3 golf gti last august, pimped it the usual way, coilies, rims, new paint, vento front, well january 27th this year afer a year of no probs atall, car gets stolen!!!! not recovered, just a small pile of glass where it was. uber gutted!!!!!!

if any pikey wants a free smash in the face please PM me :D

the onli thing thats happened to me was a motor bike was stolen out of our shed it was uninsured so there was no change of getting any money back

lol that is good, outside my mates house is a small residents car park and there was a mk3 polo someone cut the rubber round the rear window and climbed in and tried to steal it but didnt get far, even though parked 2 cars up was a year old hyundia getz with the window open doors unlocked and keys in glove box, its been there the past 4 weeks now lol

my mate had his nova broken into and they bent the door open and pulled the pin up, so i decided to unscrew my door pins, i'm forever locking myself in my car now by accident lol so if you ever see someone hanging out the window trying to unlock there door its me lol

Let's face it though, there's no point vandalising it, you can't make it look any worse, and no point joyriding it, because it'd be no fun.

someone tried to break in my car when the previous owner had it, they tried to prize the lock out with a screwdriver, luckily they didnt get in and the damage was a smallish slit above the passenged lock, but the previous owner did nothing and its gone rusty, however nothing when I've had it *touch wood*

I broke into a saxo VTS once, was easy, took me 20 seconds, used a special tool that I made. I've seen it done with a take-away leaflet before too! Stupidly easy!

I remember when Kam's headunit got stolen, it was a proper piece of shit, half of the buttons had fallen off and it was a £50 one from argos anyways, what was the point?
