YEP! all mk4's are but there have been soem weird cases where they have been pinned, but that was abit weird

Removed mine at the weekend without any drama on a 1998 CL

got my badges and strips off with a bit of dental floss behind them and used the floss like a saw, i was supprised as it worked rather good

looks like mine went pretty easy.they only took abt an hour aech side. i pulled them off slowly, heated the sticky foam stuff up with a hair dryer and picked it of, then i used adhesive remover to get every last bit off. once all that was done i t-cut it back then polished it, cant even tell where they were.

anyone know what a 9n's door strips are attached with??

Aren't 9n doors attached with glue but they have pins, which mean dints where the strip used to be?

^^ i take it your paint came off to? if not seems abit of a strange way to simply remove the strips!

haha yeah, i got bored an impatient, and wished i hadnt started

the glue was stubborn...like mastic but worse

so i phoned for the heavys lol

paint on one side of mine bubbled after i removed the strips :S

hot water in the seams, leave it for a bit, more hot water, leave it for a bit, dental floss / credit card gently.

paint comes off if your impatient, so good things come to those who wait.

Tar remover(got mine from halfords) or adhesive remover. might need to use the credit card to remove certain bits of the glue left behind (using hot water still).

polish (t-cut is abrasive and can ruin 2pack acrylic paints by fading / removing a layer or two - all 6ns have 2pack acrylic so watch out)
