31,000 mile Mk3 polo derby

Featured Replies

Brought it and was going to use it as a daily, but I've got my scirocco as a daily, plus my golf 1.9t ihi in the garage, so no space.

The cars worth a look anyway, but I never intended it to get nasty in anyway, just want to sell it, and move on.

The buyer wont be disapointed, will post up next week with a full mot and tax in the car for sale section.

Thanks for the help/comments guys

lol wtf 800 for a car without T or T?

are you kidding? people out side of the "scene " will just use it as a cheap daily so they wont pay that much and people inside the "scene" will just think its a standard car. one with an average milage one will be worth say 500 with some T+T for an SPI, yes its got a low milage but does that mean lots of small trips which are not giving the engine time to warm up and there for is also detrimental?

Any person without money to burn wont pay 800 for a car without any T+T never mind a mk3 loon

Well it will go through the mot next week, and ill put tax on it, but the cost will be put on top of the price. I brought my mk2 golf with no tax and mot as it went straight off the road and into my garage sorn. If somone for instance wanted it without tax to swap the engine over then it might suit them more then having to pay for tax, and never use it. Thats what the chap did who brought my Lancia delta from me did to a degree.

Cant see it failing the mot

Edited by Poloracer

it shouldnt fail. i have a j reg squareback and the thing is actually mint.. yup i said it, its a polo and mint lol :p but let us know if yours fails on anythingg

Well, having sat and read this, seen the pics at last(new PC on Tuesday should sort that!) I'd pay no more than £750 for it tops, and it'd have to have a years MOT at that. That's just my opinion and 20 years of being in the trade, and I'd really have to want it at that...

(see, no abusive language, it's possible on here!)

Thanks mate, my mate ownes an mot station and he had a quick look at it and said its fine, I hope who ever has it looks after it well, slammed, and a engine swap would'nt go as miss. Mike mc'coy style, for those who know who he is........

And those who said I dont know anything about polos, and 12 posts etc

Enjoy

That was back in 2006, PVW asked me for a feature when the tt lump and s3 interior went in, but sold it since then, and moved onto the golfs, never got round to it, always wander what it would look like if id kept it.......

Schmidts are also for sale on here if anyone is interested

just been reading some off these coments and oh my good some off you need to chill this is why i dont post on here that much everyone gets away with saying what they want this forum needs sorting i signed up in august and I'm still waiting for my member pack i have had 4 polos since then i aint got one anymore whos in charge? i want a refund!!

Yep, totaly agree, thats why I never posted on here, abaout three years ago it was just like this, so stayed well away from it, I used uk- polos instead, but nothing ever happened on there, good site non the less. People need sorting out on here, try this on E38 and your banned, no ifs, no buts. Thats why e38 works so well

this has been a bit of a harsh topic!! i think the cars worth a few hundred quid as i brought my car from joe (poloracer) and hes a good friend of mine, i dnt think theres need for some of the language used on this topic as its a "friendly" forum.

give the kid a break, hes only trying to make a bit of money like everyone else!! very nice car joe!!!

what Schmidts you got for sale?

Edited by veedub_fox

Some of the comments have been a bit harsh to say the least. The car is worth what someone is willing to pay, but i suggest get it taxed and tested then stick it on Ebay. That way you will get the best price for something like this.

£500 i say, its only a mk3 polo at the end of the day. If you had a g40 with that kind of milage then you would be talking quite a bit. It is a lovely looking car but unless someone on here falls in love with it and MUST have it at any cost its just an old polo to anyone else.

The mk3 saloon i had was bought with simular mileage to yours for £550 with simular service history off one elderly couple (and a garage) with 12months mot.

The schmidts I'm selling are th lines, 99%new with 120 miles use on them, the ones in the photo

Just out of interest modders, do those people who thought it was cleaver to get nasty do they get a warning, or strike??

Because it will just continue in this forum.............

Do you have to keep going on about it? This is Club Polo, not Edition38. Get over it.

well said tobyk, the people including me said things, due to your attitude to peoples comments and views, and vice versa, so get over it, grow up, and you will get along, and be accepted much more easily.

people are on here to help people, and have a chat, not to cause trouble.

grow up you goon or go away.

LOL

adam be carefull, this guy will report you for capital's, remember its three strikes and your out haha haha haha, what a fool.
