Lowered my car!

Featured Replies

Yep, chopped the springs, as ill have new wheels and a PhilJ kit in a month or 2 anyway, the 'on stilts' look had gone on for long enough.

Piece of P to be honest, whacked the back ones off in a couple minutes, took 3 coils off.

The fronts took longer and after we'd sorted all the back out etc.. we were working in the snow and time was passing, we were going out 7 like... so only did one oil at the front.

Monday.. 2 more off the front to level it out. then, maybe, another off all round, so 4 coils off in total, i might play it safe at 3 though. Anyway.. pics... i might keep the haggard wheel trims off for a while and just clean up the steels.

Took another coil off all round today, back is low enough for now, i think its like 4 coils shorter, the front is 2 shorter, needs to be 1 more to fully level it out, but bloody hell its low.

I almost got stuck on the Maccies drive-thru speedbump, which is essentially a block of housebricks.
