just make sure the box design is spot on and your laughin they can do over 140db in the right box and still play dirty low bass

yeah I've read that the optimum volume for that fusion is just over 2cuft and it apparently comes with ideal design templates so ill have to get looking.

i used 10m for wiring in my comps, from my boot to my doors, and its tight, I'm restricted of where i can put my amp, 12 would be spot on.

iv spent around £70 on wiring, and like martin has said, its the veins of the system.

what I've been pricing it up about the same yeah, hoping its not too much of a squeeze as it leaves little room for error or modification in the future.

i'm sure ill sort something out tho-just had my seats and side panels off inside rear window jet hasnt been working for the majority of the car's life from when my mum had it. found the problem, pipe had disconnected itself halfway down the length of the car. was interesting sorting itself out lol

i could give up half the boot i suppose if the result is right, all of the boot is a bit much for me tho.

possibly mount the box in the middle of the boot then have the amps either side.

is there any problem with mounting the amps to the su box itself?

if youre going to do the job do it properly!

i sacrificed my boot yonks ago and have spent a few hundered on wiring!

no point doing it cheap as it will fuck up or sound shit.

i'd avoid mounting amps to the box they don't like violent vibrations

may just stick it in the middle taking up most of the space then see if i can mount the amps down the sides. should work with any luck. just gotta get the sub and box lol.

if i get the 0 gauge wiring kit would there be an issue with just cutting a length off of that and running it to the amps from the distribution block if I've got enough of it? just trim it down so it fits

that would be fine you could mount amps to the rear of the seats

ust have to make sure with that that i dont use too long screws and stab my passengers in the back

right, just found the manual for the sub and reading through, optimum enclosure size is 3cuft for a ported box and 2cuft for a sealed one.

would i notice much of a difference between the two options seeing as I'm just gonna be using this under normal conditions or is it just personal preference as what to go for?

you get around double the volume from ported compared to sealed so yeah you really would notice the difference

might have to make myself a sealed box as its not too much trouble and i can get it how i like-should have the mdf in the garage already, then if I'm not content i can always upsize when i feel like it :)

looking at some lights i can put in there aswell to light it all up aswell. boot light doesnt work for some reason and i cant see it doing much anyway

wahey! the components and their respective amp have arrived this morning and all i can say is that I'm impressed with the quality of how its all been put together, seems very sturdy.

just got to wait for everything else to arrive now and hopefully can commence with putting it all together at the weekend :)
