Looking on alloywheels.com and when i entered my car and model number it came up with all the suitable alloys that would fit but all of them come with 195 50 tyres will i have any problems?

What car? If it's a Mk3, no chance, if it's a Mk4, you'll get away with it providing you don't lower it too far

there fine on a mk4 that aint lowered, they catch on 95% lock and rub with a heavy car over a speed bump briefly.
