14x8 borbet Ts

Featured Replies

iv seen a deal for the rims and tires included etc but the best option for the tires is 185/55 14?

how will these be on 14x8s?

I'm just getting so confused on what to go for lol :?

or is it best to get the rims then get the tires elsewhere?

cheers for any responses :-)

195/45s mate, 185/55s will probably look shit

why tho? surely if there not as wide as 195s there will be more stretch? or is it cos the sidewall is 55?

185 will obviously give more of a stretch but 55 profile might be a bit balloonish, which defeats the object of fitting small wide wheels. 195/45s will be lower profile so you can lower the car more.

yeh bt the deal on 'race and road' isn't that good, if your going to buy them seperatly without tyres don't buy them of 'race and road' the deal with tyres is ok bt you get rubbish size tyres with it. Even with the 45 pound delivery felgenhaus are cheaper than race and road. thats what i was stating.

195/45 FTW

Sorry the shops called felgenhaus not felenghaus, it's an ebay shop, could be the same one you've seen (search it on google) yeah the wheels are 8x14, 389 pound bt it's 45 pound delivery though so it works out 435 so it's not too much saving lol. and it says they haven't got tuv certification for the polo bt they will fit, also there et15 so they be right on the edges of you are arches (still legal though i've been told). they also sell the 7x14 there 349 pound and they have tuv certification for the polo bt still 45 delivery lol. Even though the shop is in england i think the wheels are in germany thats why the delivery is so high. Hope that helps
