Confused about Angel Eyes!!

Featured Replies

Just been studying an image of some angel eyes and I want to install a HID kit when I get hold of them. Anyway that aside I'm trying to work out where the high beam bulb sits!

If I'm correct the Mk4 uses a H4 bulb which has 2 filaments, 1 for dipped beam and 1 for high beam.

When I replace this bulb with a HID kit then what happens to my full beam!?

As you can see from the image one side is the projector lens and the other side is the sidelight, but still no bulb for the full beam!?

Can anyone help!!!?

Cheers

Luke

the rings become the side lights....

the projection is your dipped beam

and the other one is your High!....

simple as...

If you're using those lights in the picture, it also means you're not using H4 bulbs anymore - you'll be using single filament bulbs. One bulb for dipped (behind the projector) and one for full beam (in the other reflector).

if you do buy the ones in the picture, i doubt they will be RHD. as far as i know the 6n fk angel eyes dont come with the switch that changes them from LHD to RHD like the 6n2 ones.

selling RHD converted black FK angel eyes for a 6n polo. check here for more details: http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?...mp;#entry993848
