When you say tacky how far did you go with it?

It really depends on the car, colour etc. 6n dash panels (that crack in the top passenger corner!) would be an eyesore in a light bodycolour, but might take well to gloss black,or faux suede. Generally, its gotta match the theme - I'm even fussy about the colour/style of the head unit matching that of the cars interior. All I've done is fit a wicker parcel shelf, and mars red numerics on the gearknob.

all i have done is changed the the dial illuminations to match my headunit and thats it

i think if your going to colour code then your better off doing them gloss black , i think colour coded interiors especially dashes do look tacky

looks shit and chavvy

dont do it.

There is some1 on here that has done quite a bit of colourcoding (black) to his interior. He just had his car featured in an irish mag. His username is 1stcarsapolo i think. It did look ok but its not my cup of tea.

Colour coded to the body colour looks rubbish IMO

BUT I dont think this is tacky (my interior)

It reminds me of the Golf with cream Bentley rims! :ninja: dont ask!

is that a standard mk5 dash and center console apart from colour ?

i agree on the golf comment

Does look a nightmare to keep clean though

I think it would look better if the doors were trimmed to match the seats rather than painted.

Or half trimmed.

Does look smart, and different which is good!

I hear Tobe won the Lottery. He's getting the whole car done in Alcantara .

I think getting the right colours and quantity is key. My mates Lupo was grey with a full purple trim and painted purple dash and it went really really well.

I think this is pretty colour coded personally.
