Hi all,

Some of you have seen my car, and like it, while others dont. 1st off I dont care what you say about the styling, each too they own and I like it, so dont bother posting if your post is gonna start , " Thats s**t, get a 16v bumper on there" etc.

Anyway I've got 17's on there there at moment, which I've said look too big, and I'm going to 15's, which i should get quite low on my coilovers.

Question I've got for you is I torn between Audi tt wheels and golf GTi wheels, so whatdo people think

Cheers

Chris

P.S. I know the photoshops arent great, but you get the idea

I'm swingin more for the Audi rims as the front is ment to look like an Audi? they seem to go more with the car

EDIT you cant get either of those wheels in 15s! lol

Like ste says you cant get either of them alloys in 15's!

I've found a place that can do the replicas in 15" for both

um.....sorry but WTF

Audi Nice Photoshop work :lol::thumbsup:

I would say the audi ones. Only reason being that when i ordered my GTi those wheels look shit if they are to small. They looked shit in 17" so in 15 they will look even worse.

Definetly the Audi wheels. First set will look too much imo.

Yea that wasnt me, you can tell mine was the GTI wheels, still not bad for 1st ever go on PS though.

Cheers so far, I'm thinking the Audi as it will tie in with teh overall style of the car.

any more thought??

I think it looks not too bad with the Audi wheels. Not my type of car styling, but it does look less offensive with the Audi rims. Maybe with the fancy bodykit you should go for a slightly more "plain" style of wheel?

i agree deffinatly the audi rims !!!

your cars got audi style kit so only right + they look the best !!!

go for the audi's...but maybe in 16's? weird thing to say but i have a feeling 15's would look to small for that bumper

LOL that is very strange, and completely against the rest of the club haha I salute you sir.

The reason I’m going for 15’s is that I can have I low for time like club polo, but have it a it higher as a daily.

Pic below of it currently on 17’s

Just a suggestion here, but have you thought about colouring the bit in the middle of the bumper in black? (the part where the numberplate usually sits) You could probably cover it in black textured vinyl, so if you decided you didn't like it, it could be removed again.

Thought bout it, but think i may be a bit to much and end up looking like this

It looks like that anyway doesnt it?

I think the black vinyl is a good plan.

15`s will look lost i think with that kind of style, deffo go for 16`s 8-) and most deffo the Audi ones :-)

Yeah the black middle will make it look like its got a big mouth :?

i think the black middle breaks it up more tbh would do it if it was me

but its ure car u do with it wnat u want mate its what u think and like not evey other person on here

and go for the audi wheels

like test richie said the 15" verson of the gti wheel wont look that good...

i reckon it looks really good with the middle bit black

get some bbs 8-)

Definately go for the TT Rims

i say tt rims all the way, and I'm feeling the black bit in the middle of the grille, breaks it up a bit, i dont think it would look half bad if the bottom mesh part wasnt there, but it aint my car and i didnt make the kit so ill shut up :D
