Where is the plug? Electrical components are not my strong point

i've got a late spec mk3 and couldn't find the plug.

but i did manage to find it on an early spec bready! its near the ECU and fusebox.

as for me, i chopped the yellow wire behind the switch (top right if you were to look at the FRONT of the switch)

there's a yellow cable, connected to a coil in the corner of the passenger side of the engine bay... well this is on a mk3, it could apply to a mk4.

yea little resistor looking thing on the nearside scuttle panel

Just done this simple and easy

Coil thing is in scuttle tray attached to side near fuse box and the plug is a bit further up
