Europe. Its all in europe and we're having to pay the price for their failed currency aswell - three billion pounds of our money, every single year, signed away by Labour. Three billion. There are only 60 million of us. Well, its about 70,75 million now,but the government dont even know how many people are here. Total incompetence, they're doing so much damage its unreal.

Only mid-table. Interesting to see a table for total taxation, cos of all the new 'stealth' taxation.

Me i'm happy to pay tax, as long as it's spent wisely, which it ain't.

I'm not angry enough to vote BNP yet though!!

Or drive a Polo. For a car that's considerably more sluggish until it climbs, the pizza is thirsty in comparison to the old bike-carbed beast. Yeah,we see the headlines today and are told 22 percent of babies born last year have foreign mothers. Only half that 10 years ago, when Labour came to power. Did you vote? No? Tough then, shut it. But one thing you can do is use less fuel, stop smoking, etc.

What you talking about?!? How can you even presume to know mine (or anyone elses) voting habits!?

I think just being a taxpayer gives you a right to comment. You should always be able to comment on the goods you bought, especially when you couldn't choose not to buy them!! It's not as if we live in a real democracy or anything crazy like that. If you live in an area like I do where the vast majority always vote a different way to you, then your vote will never count so what's it matter if you cast it or not? I reckon your comment would be valid if we had some sort of proportional representation though. :-)

this country sucks.

voting dont work because people are blind to the crazy crap this govmunt do, and think maggie thatcher still runs the conservatives.

its either leave, or put up with it.

sorry, that option is obsolete, thanks to these new anti-terrorisim laws, designed to "protect" us, you do anything remotely like showing how much you passionately hate all the shit they dump on us and you'll get arrested and branded a terrorist. garenteed.

i for one will take the lovely option of f-king off as soon as i finish my engineering qualifications.

sometimes i think someone should pull the plug and sink this bastard island.

Hang on! I still quite like it here!! Are you really sure things are much better elsewhere? OOI, Where would you emigrate to? (Hopefully they won't mind immigrant foreigners there).

I have no problem with the UK. I certainly can't think of anywhere else I'd want to live.

Although, if I still lived in the South East, I'd probably be wanting to move!

dont get me wrong, i love the beautiful rolling hills around me and all that jazz, but everyday it becomes less and less reasonable to live here...

i cant afford 120k+ for a small house in a reasonable part of mk

dont appreciate paying over £1 a litre for fuel having been taxed twice on it

hate the way policing/judicial system has gone

think the NHS is the biggest black hole for national spending. ever. and to get good quality healthcare private will see you right.

hate the way my taxes dont go on anything i use/d and seem to disspaear off th the EU

hate the way the EU makes stupid laws that we seem to be the only country to follow

think this whole "green britan" thing has got waaaaaaaay out of control... i'm all for keeping things tidy, but fk me!

*phew*

i could go on, but wont.

i like north buck/south northants, and i also like other bits of the country as well, but surely somethings wrong when scotland are getting things in order, an all our governmet seem to be able to do is make life for the everyday man even more hassle!

Yeah, fair dos! :-D

Out of that list it'd have to be NZ, I reckon. Personally, after spending many months abroad in Asia and Oz, I really missed the weather! :retard:

I kind of feel if I leave then the wankers have won! I don't argue with any of your points though, things are definately bad..

i live with someone from somewhere near falkirk, an he says its a damn sight better than living down here!

each to their own i guess, but i like to think the scots might posses something lacking in english politics...common sense.

Well, I'm Scottish (born to Scottish parents, and in Scotland) and spent the first few years of my life pretty much in Glasgow, obviously too young to understand what was going on. Then up until 2 years ago I lived in the South East of England, a few years in Essex then 5 years in Kent. At first I loved it, then as I became interested in what made the world go round, I began to hate it.

So, we moved up here. About 35 miles North of Aberdeen. Middle of nowhere. It's absolutely fine where I am because I'm so far away from everything nothing really matters. But there are so many people that seem determined to rip Scotland apart. An independant Scotland? Sure, sounds like it could work, but will it, really? As much as I hate to say it, because of the EU, most Scotland could not survive without England.

There are some areas, primarily the North East of Scotland, where pretty much all the money comes from local businesses etc, from offshore oil work to specialist engineering. There is one government party who wants ALL income to be part of the state, I don't understand how this could work. To me, it seems as if a communist government is trying to undermine the entire country. The further I look into it, the more it scares me. I don't pretend to properly understand politics, but I know it's not right.

The same applies to England too, no doubt. I just don't think people realise we get it bad up here too.

Hate Essex!! International county of culture!! How very dare you!! :-D

My friend reckons Blair is part of a Catholic conspiracy! Consider-

He converted as soon as he left office!

He gave Northern Ireland back to the Caths!

Ruth Kelly is in Opus Dei!

Crusading in the Middle East??

Makes you think, don't it?

another thing that pisses me off is the biase that the government show to the scots, but thats no surprise really seens as this country is run by one.

lol! i may hate the government but i aint racist, BNP can go to hell.

mate i'm no racist, but some thing needs to be done about immigration, voting the BNP won't get them in power, but it might give which ever party does win a kick up the arse, and make them realize we need some thing to be done about it.

What about the Government's bias towards Scotland where 30% more is spent per head on transport than in England as a whole?

Ah yeah, but it's a lot more rural in Scotland, so the average price is bound to be higher, isn't it? :-D
