Featured Replies

i want to take the bump strips off the side of my car, but jsut wanted to know whether there are bolts behind them, meaning they would need to be filled and sprayed or whether they're stuck on... anybody know for sure?

There just stuck on.

There just stuck on but for the love of god please dont just rip them off. Do a search for the proper way of taking them off, saw the car you bought when it was for sale, its a cracker so dont make a mess of the sides

Only saying as mine went slightly tits up, even though i did it as carefully as I could with hot water/hairdryer and everything!

and hope it's not had any paintwork as most places mask them off rather than remove them so there will be lines where the paint edge is once removed ;)

if you use the reasch function you will see this topic is covered at least once a week! USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION THATS WHAT ITS THERE FOR!

would they be difficult to stick back on if the paint underneath is fucked? lol

you can get self adhesive strips that would probaly work, but I've also heard they are abit poo so maybe use some silicone and next time you want them off ask a body shop to take them off and respray that area. will vary in price with the comapny and the car colour as soem are easier to coloour match than others

keep them on and colour code them ;)
