as above, looking at some 8j wheels at the back, do you think 195/45/15 would be ok with my car being down 60 all round?

Most people go for 195/45

I had 195/45 on a 9" wheel you'll be fine

195 on an 8 is spot on mate

hey i'd thought i would add this on here cos I'm getting 8j's wrapped in 195/45's too. i'm 99 percent sure it's ok, i know the tread needs to be in the arches bt is it only the top of the tyre that needs to b under the arch. Also on a mk4 are the hubs on the back and front the same distance from the arches. cheers :-)
