Oh my god, 21 quid for a car like that?

The car had broken down on the A9 north of Perth and the guy

was quoted £750 to repair the ECU...Too much hassle for him

to try and get it back to Coventry so he put it for sale on the bay

as a non-runner with ECU fault,hence me getting it for £21.

It's cost me less than £300 to get it on the road legally.It needed

a new ECU,which i got repaired free as a favour,a new radiator

and a full service kit including a timing belt kit.It helps if you work

in a Motor Factors Neil and get your parts at cost price mate. ;):thumbsup:

well after a very long tow! from eats sussex to peterborough! it's now on he drive.

after a damn good look at her she's not so bad! bodywork will clean up ok apart from a few dinks and scrapes.

so tommorow I'm starting operaton clean up and tidy!

oh and the hunt for a new gearbox has begun! lol 8-)
