I no there is alot of people asking the same question

i have tried endless insurance companies to get my insurance sorted I've got a provisonal liciance and aiming to pass in about 2-4 months

so far I've tried

quinns direct around 1300 on a provisional but when i said i had passed my test it was about 3700 third party fire and theft

direct line is just under 2000 but dont want people to mod there car until there 25 (don't no if they change wen u have passed?)

tried adrian flux and they refred me to a website compare more.co.uk got a decent quote saying its been modded 4 2000 but when i rang them up to confurm it i asked if they rase it when I've passed and it was 2700!

concidering I've already got a 50/50 claim against me when i was 16 on my motorbike its not looking too good although I've still got a 125 that i ride 2 work everyday and only using the car for going out in and occasionaly when it rains 2 go to work in

also paying 650 fully comp on my bike group 7 insurance in my own name and my bike probly being faster than my car i think i getting dry bummed on car insurance

try redline equity or go threw adrian flux they quoted me the best get a policy where the cars worth jack shit on paper and your only doing limited milage.

How old are you? Some insurance companys dont insure you at all unless you're over a certain age.

how many u pay for automobile insurance??

i pay every Month 32 € for my Golf mk2 and 45€ for my Polo mk3...

i´m in the unit 6 (60%)from 10...(100%) unit 10 is the biggest insurance unit in German for normal people..

are the automobile insurance in UK so expensive?

Try getting your parents as the policy holder, you as a named driver. I managed to get a quote with Direct line for £1k for provisional Third party fire & theft (1.2k for fully comp) on my 1.4CL, me as a named driver. I've not got any major mods, purely cosmetic such as the clear indicators and Mk5 rear lights. I do have a 16v bumper, which loads of people at my work who are on direct line said to say "I don't really know much about cars, they were on it when I got it".

Quinn gave me a good quote, but like yourself, they wanted 2.5K for a pass!
