in my quest to make my g40 minty mint, I've been spending monies on it like there is no tomorrow. and in that quest after RedG40 started on about his knock sensor, i checked mine and found this!!

and then ordered a new one that looked like this!!!

and then i added more sleeving to stop it happening again and it looked like this!!

and after throwing my hat on the ground in fury at not being able to get the bolt back on and now my hands are practically bleeding i finally won the battle and have another new sensor. i have now changed everything apart from starter and alternator which I'm not going to as they are fine.

this week alone has seen new hall sender/w5dpo plugs/anti knock sensor and new vacuum hoses. i might take some pics of the car too today as i feel quite good about it all. :-D
