Looks good! They 15s or 16s? What spec is the engine?

Looks good, what sort of gains/improvements you getting from the FMIC? Might be looking to change mine at some point

Never seen this car before, it looks wicked. Bet it shifts a bit aswel.

its got a straight through exhaust, panel filter, tuning box and the intercooler, aint got a clue what power its producing untill i get a rolling road remap.

pulls alot harder than a stock 1.4TDI.

i did the intercooler the same time as the exhaust so gains were ok.

the wheels are 15x7 with 15mm spacers out back, 10mm front. bridgestone 165-50s all round

merc sprinter bolts holdin them on too.

looks really nice. wheels suit really well

Cool, exhaust and panel filter are on the cards for this year, probably not before springfest though, would be interesting to go against you on the pod, my custom code remap vs tuning box in yours (I'm pushing about 110bhp with ~250nm torque (about 185 lb/ft)

Looks cool, I reckon the wheels would better if you colour code the centers though?

What other plans you got?

custom code is always gonna be better than a generic tuning box though...

I've never really thought bout the pod, il be remapped by then I'm hoping, if mines a strong 110bhp with the re map id be happy.

the tuning box aint that good, its not a huge gain, but pulls a little stronger if you get what i mean.

my clutch is iffy as it is so that needs doing too.

i dunno what color to do the centres, if anyone can photo shop some coloured centres feel free, it would save me loads of trial and error.

other plans, mk2 golf gti interior, new brakes and the remap and clutch.

Really like the way this looks! Good to see someone tuning the 1.4 oil burner too.

looks cool mate, the fmic exposed looks cool but i bet all kinda shit gets in there. borbets suit it down to the ground id say leave em silver, black on black is done to death these days. looks cool with the whole body of the car being black and the silver wheels. The in-pro smoked headlights would look ace on this imo

anybody think orange centres on polished lips? or just a nice shiny silver?

The orange idea sounds pretty good, something different to the usual stuff people do on here!

That idea for wheels is similar to what I'm doing.......maybe..... :ninja:

where you get the intercooler from and how much it set u back ???

^ Is yours even a diesel mate?

Anyways looks good especially with the intercooler exposed, dont think I've seen that on a 6n2 before....perhaps remove the mud flaps tho ay?

cheers man, it gives a few people second glances when I'm on the road thats for sure!

id love to take the mud flaps off but the wide wheels fling shit and stones up the side of the car if i do, so they gotta stay

the cooler was from fleabay, just a universal one and the pipework was made by my mate, bout £100 all in and fitted if you know the right people :-)

But they cant be put on Petrol cars tho can they? Well non turbo'd ones. Which is why I asked matt if he's got a diesel..
