Back from Plush DISASTER!!!!!!!

Featured Replies

Got my car back from Plush automotive yesterday and i couldn't be more happy with it.

Luke is genius when it comes to interior the attension to detail and effort he put into it was brilliant, was a top service

I've had a false floor put in which has been retrimmed in brown and black alcantara and i've had some Hertz high energy front components, tweeters and crossovers fitted, the components have been put in door pods and the door cards have been trimmed in brown and black alcantara, and tweeters have been put in builds on my dash and trimmed in black alcantara, the crossovers have been hidden in the dash because i didn't want it to look too I.C.Eish and too barry. also had a new clifford concept 650 mk2 fitted after the last one went bang

Not the greatest pics around but i couldn't wait until the morning to show you.

So i'll shut up now and let you see the pics. enjoy

that is awesome

Looks brilliant 8-)

very nice :)

To be brutally honest, that looks amazing!

Does look ace... However, i can't help thinking that the window winder handles etc kinda let it down being in the shitty boring plastic. And the dash too if I'm being anal... Do you have plans for these? Or will they just stay as they are?

Looks fecking ace though, I'm not trying to piss on your bonfire at all!!

Did they forget to do the rear doorcards?

Thanks for the comments, the plastic bits on the door card shall be arriving when some money does into my pocket and the rear doors cards shall be done aswell.

DISASTER!!!!!!!!!! :-(

Last night i was dropping my missus home when i had to break very sharp for another car as i broke sharp i hit a bump which sent my trye pounding off my arch which bent the metal inwards and crunpled it and knocked the skim of filler out aswell.

I'm gutted cant believe it i've only had the car back 4 days after it being off the road since day after boxing day and then this hapens and this month my wallet is pritty much empty after the interior, so I'm screwed.

So looks like I'm not at gti spring fest which is a kick in the nuts and dont know how long it'll be off the road for now :-(:-(:-(

Heres a few pics of the damage

I've managed to smack the metal back out and give it a funky flare so it dont go back in again and have wound the coilover up so it dont hit anymore hopefully will be able just to get it work and back for a bit

:-(:-(

that a proper bit of sh*t luck ,

should come to spring fest anyway

Gutted Sam, how long is that gonna take to repair?

Still better 2 weeks before spring fest than 2 days.

that's no skim! lmao.

So what's the plan now? have it done the same and run a stiffer suspension setup? Smaller Tyres? Higher at the front?

Bad luck dude, Luke at Plush has done my trim over the winter. I'll get some pics up as soon as I've finished some details.

Okay thats a bit better i thought spring fest was on sunday lol

Hopefully it should be done asap cant bare to drive it with anything wrong.

The plan is to flare the front arches even more on the part they were scraping on so can keep everyhting the same.

i've had it with driving the thing daily to be honest i cant go anywhere in it without fear of meeting a speedbump and now its resprayed i dont want the paint to start going down hill. As much as i love the attension it gets think its time to clear a space out in the garage and keep it in there and use it for shows and nice sunny days every now and then. suppose if I'm not using it i'll have an excuss to go and put a g40 in it and polish the living shit out of it.

So in the next few months i'll be looking for a very cheap run about very preferably with a Polo badge on it

Foook me, that's more than a skim of filler. :o It was bound to come out!
