Wow!!! I just came back to this thread to grab some pics of my old car... I was reminiscing about it with a lad at work, telling him about the amount of work that had gone into it before I bought it!

I can't remember who i bought it from but I remember it was around Leeds somewhere and that the driveway in front of the house was a bit of a ramp...

We came for it in a Green mk1 185 bhp TT (which I easily kept up with on the Drive back to Darlington!)

I LOVED that car. I didn't do much with it apart from swap the steel wheels for some G40 alloys that to be honest RUINED the handling. Not sure if the tyres were just rubbish or what.

There were bridgestones I think, but the tyres that came on the steelies were incredible.

I sold the car to my brother Martin when I bought my C2 (I know, I know!!!!!!!) He painted the wheels black and for a while had some chess board vinyl on one of the wings that seemed to attract police.

I never had any bother but he was always being pulled and they even complained about the pressed metal plates even though they were reflective and had the proper font.

I think Martin sold it to Jake after not owning it for very long..... so there you go, a little gap in the ownership history has just been filled : )
