Well since i bought the car beggining of February this year i've only changed the rear lights for standard 8v ones and then 16v ones and i've replaced the German plates with standard ones, now i'm thinking of changing the alloys and a few other things. So if anyone has any ideas of what to do then please post them up, but please dont post up negative comments saying that you think it looks shite just maybe the things you would change. Cheers. If its not on coilies already, id get some. I would run the front lower than the rear, if that means ligting the back up a bit its worth it for the car to look better... When its much lower on the back, like yours seems to be, it never quit elooks right in my eyes.

If you are thinking of new wheels, how about going crazy low on some wide steels? Failing that, Porsche D90's look nice on mk4's though they are expensive. Brocks, steffans, and numerous other wheels can all look sweet if you get the right stance.

Yeah its on FK coilies -75mm front -80mm rear, i tried some wide wellers on a few weeks ago but was worried about being pulled for them so decided against it. The D90's look nice but their too common now i just want some alloys that are rare on 6N's.

Try 8V rear lights, but lose the clear reverse light section so its just plain red and orange on both sides? Orange indicators all round, and some black/dark grey wheels with orange detailing would really suit this colour.

Look on ebay.de for cheap sexy wheels, around 7inch wide on the front and 8 on the back... Definitely lose the rear wiper too. Halfords sell bungs to go in the hole, its a 20 min job and it makes a massive difference.

I had the 8V lights on there recently but swapped them for the 16V ones and sold the white ones, i was thinking about putting the original front indicators back on and side repeaters. Someone on here (Desta i think) has the black version of my alloys, orange detailing on the imprinted wrighting would look pretty sweet. Arent the halford bungs a bit half arsed and let water in

Maybe go for a GTI front Splitter? Will mean you can drop it a little lower at the front and lose a bit of arch gap!

In.pro headlight & indicators would look cool

Polished vw mk2 golf gti teardrop wheels ? with or without caps,couple of combinations to be had there

i know it's been done but i love golf g60 steels on polo's.

detailed ronal teddy bears and as low as you can go for a bit of fun

Centra turbo 15's if you can find them.

The German plates have been taken off now, i like the sound of the teardrop alloys and i was thinking about the G60 steels a while ago, but i dont want to go any lower than it is now otherwise it would be too bumpy and grind on everything

Yeah it's Johns old car i bought it beginning of February very well looked after car and runs perfect, yeah it'd look good with wide wellers and pulled arches but so many 6N's have that done now and i just wanna do something different and new

Do you mean the horizontal striped grills, and the lights shown above aren't on the car anymore, where can i get GTi splitter from other than VW as their probably be really expensive

Yeah i've been thinking about taking the splitter of this week or maybe replacing it with something shorter

For a GTI splitter maybe a very lucky scrappy find or someone on a forum selling it. Failing that, VW i guess! Dont think anywhere like GSF or ECP do replacement splitters :(

Took the splitter off yesterday and it looked shite without it, so i've put it back on until i can source a better one or maybe go for the 16v bumpers but would prefer something different
