thats a fair old stretch, are they illegal? and I've been told they can be dangerous? they will be going on a 1.0l mk4 wiht no PAS if not these which tyres should i fit??

cheerrrsss

that is a minor stretch compared to what some people do!

ad never put 165's on my 7's....175's are a better bet imo...safer

Bridgestone Potenza's are a good tyre and i would also say the best for a 7J rim mate . 165/50's all the way .

Remarkable grip for a streached tyre and in the sort of middle price bracket too

You'd be surprised how safe stretched tyres actually are. I've given mine death and they are yet to come off.

hmm ino what u sayin kam, i herd a while back when you were trying to make em pop off n they wudnt lol

just theres less tyre in contact with the road with 165's...just seems a waste of a 7j rim!

this arguement can, and has gone on over and over again....

stretch or no strech, decide what you like, but whats the point in wasting more server space about a shitty subject lol

175 on a 7j in my opinion isnt enough strech, but its very common size to use on this width rim.

wooooww chill dude, just a general discussion
