It's from an Audi 80 Sport 1990 model. Nick S from here found the boss adaptor to get her on!!!!

Feels chunky & just finishes off the cabin nicely i think....never been a fan of tiny wheels

Colour i from the 1990 range of Passats.

Wanted to try & keep the colour period if I could.......

Bit more of an update;

So I picked her up from the bodyshop and she went and sat in a shed for a while to cure off.

While she was there, myself and the wonderful Mr Bort did a few jobs around & about her in prep for the rebuild.

New rims went on, with a fresh lick of paint & a few electrical bits were replaced just as it was easy to get at everything.

So it was time to get the rebuild underway;

I managed to get the original headling of the truck in one piece during the whole process, just retightened it all & dyed the whole thing black to give it that GTi feel.

Also got the paint mopped straight away to help with the finish;

First new item to go back in was the rear slider!!!! WHOOP!!!!

Was so pleased with this!!!

Quickly followed by the door glass which had a very slight 30% smoke put into it & new green tint windscreen.

All this was done on a Sunday with alot of help from some very good friends.

The truck soon had all glass in & the front end & lights in!!!

By the end of the day she was water tight & looked pretty good for the effort of the day.

She had come home in style & sat on my drive just shining in the sun!!!

The exterior was well on the way but the interior still needed alot of work, as well as rubbing in tons of polish to the fresh paint!!!

Interior Time!!!

So the exterior wasn't looking too bad, so time to turn the attention to the inside.

All parts were cleaned and if needs be replaced with new items, or at least ones which were in much better condtion.

Cabin was cleand;

Carpet was added to the rear bulk head and the B pillars to try & give it a much warmer feel in there. Took a bit of patience, but the result wasn't too bad i thought.....

Got the Rocco seats back in there, along with the carpet from a 5 door Golf;

I also managed to get some new door cars in spot on condition!!!

The dash went back in nicely, along with new lower trays and the whole thing looked pretty dam good!!! :-D

Some of the finishing touches;

Well, the finishing touches needed to be added to the thing.

I started with a chrome edged bumper & stuck in some FK smoked indicators with the side lights in. Plugged all up using OE plugs so can be unclipped for the MOT :-)

The back end was a little bare.........

So some kind soul made me some of these to go on!!!!

So i think this looks lots better :-)

The actual load bed was a bit of a mess with a few dints.......as a tidy up job she hit the booth again for some stone guard & the wheel arches to be done too :-)

Added some lovely mats to the rear, some stainless eyes for lashing points and pretty close to being done!!!!

Also stumbled across a lashing net which has come in most handy

I have had some more parts turn up, chrome strips, arche spats etc

I have tweaked some more things too and the winter "to Do" list is looking bigger every time i think about it...but some current pics in it's near completion stage;

The first day out, with a play mate, who was also on the road for the 1st time :-)

I managed to get her on stage at E38 :-)

Lots of things to do still though!!!!

When I get chance I shall have to detail the spec & all the little trick bits to get it to the stage I am at now!!!!

To be fair I can't take credit for it...Nick S off here was the guy who bought the boss so maybe he could tell you where he found it.

I just bought it & bolted it on!!!

its gd 2 c the caddy done mr hoppy sir i like it even if it caused my head 2 hurt lol

I call the original colour "economy" blue lol

Carpet wasn't that thick at all. Just took alittle time & patience and some spray evo stick to get the finish I was after. There is some carpet you heat up and will mould around things; I think this would be better for your turrets for sure.

forgot how good the caddy looks,might have to pop down and catch up on things

I have to say I love driving this thing & can't wait to get it out in the Spring again!!!!

I do want wheels badly now to finish it off, very undecided what to get.......I hope i don't make a balls up of whatever I decided to have a play with..........
