I learn't along the way & look forward t getting stuck into another project as soon as the decks clear abit more for me.

The Audi only lasted a week....didn't like it & it went back!!!!

needs some other wheels on it boaldyheadedman, still pimps hard and i still love it, just think some thing a little more meaningful like some black g60's would give it that finishing touch.

either way its still my fave caddy and it still makes me want one but i just know any thing i got wouldn't end up looking that good

i actually woke up the other morning and randomly thought 'fuck it i'm selling the cults to hoppy' didn't take long before had a nice shit and my trail of thought changed

just don't buy one off the caddy forum mate, just been looking on there and some of them lads must be smoking crack, one lad was trying to say a (badly) hand painted 1.6d lowered caddy was worth 2.5k, scene tax FTL!

even people on there trying to sell rat look caddys for 1800, the whole point of a rat look car is it is shit, so how the fuck they can justify asking that much for a car that had the living shit kicked out of every panel on it, just to top it off its only a 1.6d and the only positive thing they can say about it is it gets loads of attention at shows... if i pulled my pants down and did a shit in the middle of the show and shine that would get loads of attention at a show, does that mean i could then sell it for a 4 figure sum on the net?

i saw a caddy on piston heads, was absolutly battered and rust everywhere and that was going for 1200 on 187k mileage lol

scene tax is when people within the scene (in this case the vw scene) sell things for way above what they would sell for if you were just buying it from some bloke down the road. if you look about you can still find good caddy's for good money, but as soon as you start looking on vw sites or within the vw scene people start asking crazy money for them. but if people are silly enough to pay them prices then people will continue to sell even piss poor examples for that kinda cash.
