haha, cool. Abused so quickly

amazing car love it they look soo at home rallying!

Can't believe after all the battering, she's still going 8-)

ahh she is lovely my old blondie. build them right in the 1st place and they will take years of abuse and still the same engine as when I started rallying over 4 years and still going strong. haha

amazing car to be fair, I see endless cars by the wayside, and all to often a 205 on it's roof, they must have magnets or somthing. I'm yet to see an MG rover finish an event ha ha

needless to say blondie ploughs on, many of the crashes I've had would have finished other cars off. Just gotta learn to drive properly now

love to see a car getting use for what it was built for. keep rallying [and fixing her] until she gets a one-way ticket to the scrappy in the sky.

until she gets a one-way ticket to the scrappy in the sky.

NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AMEN to that brother.

think I struck a nerve there

lets just hope that day is far away

the funny thing is if I didnt buy it for for £30 in 2003 she was off to the scrappy.

haha thats taken a battering!

love the colour

What's the scoop with these rallies? No helmets? Closed roads? Speed limits? Can you explain the set up of the competition?

open public roads, they time from point a to point b at a 30mph average one closest to the time wins, differennt stages throughout the night with link sections, with a couple of off road sections chucked in for good measure. this is as brief as I can make it for you

hit the front drivers side.

She actually looks a bit confused in this picture, not exactly sad but just a bit confused...

I always had a theory that cars that have been rescued from a scrappy behave much better than others, I think Blondie is proof of that :-D

them rules seem abit weird  crusise control at 30 and youll win

and that car is definatly used the way it was built to be!

It's an average of 30mph, but there are marshals along the stages , you have to stop for these for them to sign you're timecard as proof of passage, so having to stop for the marshals drops you're average speed quite alot, which means some stages are impossible to complete within the specified time.

rob, did you do preseli or telford novs?? get some pictures up of your car!

No, did the Meirion in 2007 and got 1st in class, then did the Winter challange at the beginning of this year and the spring plate came off the rear shock so had to stop.

Here's some pics
