I cant do that, I'm also januray but theres no 84 number, so S24 DUB or J24 DUB it is....

dont know if i can justufy spending £250 on a reg plate though however much it personalises my car....

quick question though, is that plate mine forever or is it an anual fee or something?

so its basically a one off fee of £250(which includes the £80 transfer)...

the only time i'd pay money out is if i wanted to put the original reg back on(in which case i'd have to you £108 or something to put on retention) or to transfer to another vehicle £80)

Otherwise its on the vehicle for as loong as i own the vehicle??

As far as I was aware it costs £80 each time you transfer it to another car. My dad had a plate and he sold the car to my uncle who kept changing cars and each time it cost my dad £80 to change the plate over to his next car.

Yes i think your right...

buy the reg and it stays on the car forever with no other costs....

transfer the reg to another car and you have to pay...

however if your planning on selling your car, dvla storngly advise you to put your reg on retention and put original reg on before selling
