Custom 10" Sub Enclosure made for a Lupo/Arosa or any small boot

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I got this box made on Wednesday 26-03-08 and now have scrapped my plans for it. The box fits inline with the trim of the lupo and it is wide enough to hide the amp and not too wide to take up too much room.

I paid £70 for it.

It measures: Height - 17 inches, Width - 11 inches Depth 1 - 5.5 inches, Depth 2 - 8.75 inches and is made out of half and inch MDF and is Sealed.

Thus making the internal volume 0.567 cuft.

It was initially built for a shallow mount sub, but I think it could accommodate some standard 10 inches anyway.

It is carpeted in black acoustic carpet, but there are no terminals (£4 tops).

It has been sealed with a mixture of fibre glass, hardener and silicone, then to make sure it was properly sealed I personally went round all the joints with silicone from Wickes.

There is a 9 inch diameter hole cut out which is fine for any 10 inch sub.

Nothing has ever been mounted in it, it is brand new.

Here are some pictures: The second picture shows my sub sitting in the box, it was not screwed in.

I guess collection is preferential. The box can be in Birmingham, West London (Feltham Staines area) and Sometimes in South London (Morden, Wimbledon area)

I paid £70 as stated above and am looking for the same back. I am open to sensible offer.

Questions welcome.

Thanks for looking!!
