RIP Polo GT (the successor)

Featured Replies

Having unfortunately lost my polo gt following the, god like driving of a 17 yr old with 9 days driving experience last june i thought it was about time i bought something from the VAG group again, and here it is a bit cumbersome and ugly but i actually quite like it. does need a clean etc as these are ebay pics.

hopefully if i ever see the money out of the insurance, i will be back in a polo, a g40 this time but until now this will do, it's a 2.0 16v so is pretty quick and very smooth and once on the pressed plates and dropped a bit should change peoples opinions a bit, it's different!

We had one exactly the same colour but without the half leather trim. Got it for £100, couldn't complain really. Engines worth more than that alone!

Big cars, but quick!

I'm very pleased with it 11 months mot and tax ebay bargain i think, at 310 quid. pics dont really do it justice will post better ones when the plates come and i fit the springs etc. believe it's the same colour as a mk2 fire and ice golf looks very purple.

called purpura Iris mate (colour code S4N)

tidy looking one there, that the ABF engined one?

Legend !!!!!!, cheers mate, no marks that warrant paint but for the future thats a great help.

and yeah it is an abf engined one. i have been really suprised how well it goes, driven an ibiza gti with this engine and thought this to be obviously slower due to weight etc but to be fair probably isn't by much.
